George Costigan

George Costigan is a hugely successful  stage, television and film actor and FB&TV is delighted to welcome him as a Patron.

He rose to fame in 1986 as adulterous businessman Bob in the comedy film Rita, Sue and Bob Too. He has since starred or featured in many television productions, includingThe Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (providing mellifluous Peter Lorre-type villiany) Kavanagh QC, Murder Most Horrid, So Haunt Me, London's Burning, The Bill, Holby City, Dalziel and Pascoe, The Inspector Lynley Mysteries, The Beiderbecke Connection and Casualty. He recently starred as Alan, the ex-husband of Christine, Inspector Frost's new love interest in A Touch of Frost.

His film work includes Calendar Girls and Shirley Valentine.  In the theatre, he created the role of Mickey Johnstone in Willy Russell's Blood Brothers, originally at the Liverpool Playhouse, and later at the Lyric Theatre, London. He most recently played the role of 'Estragon' in Samuel Beckett's play 'Waiting for Godot' at the Manchester Library Theatre for three weeks from 16 February to 8 March, 2008, and played 'Willy Loman' in Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman at York Theatre Royal in November 2008.

Since March has been a regular in  Emmerdale as charismatic businessman Charlie Haynes.

Susannah Harker

FB&TV is delighted to welcome new patron, esteemed film,  television and theatre actress Susannah Harker.  Susannah trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama and shortly after graduating was nominated for a BAFTA TV Award  for her role as Mattie Storin in House of Cards. Susannah has also appeared in the play On the Shore of the Wide World, and made countless appearances at the National Theatre, the Donmar and in the West End.  On TV she appeared alongside Clive Owen in Chancer and starred as Jane Bennet in the 1995 adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. She also appeared as Trevor Eve's love interest in Heat of the Sun.  Frequently working in film she has featured in White Mischief, A Dry White Season and Always Crashing in The Same Car.

Ian McMillan

Ian hosts weekly words show The Verb on R3. He is Yorkshire Planetarium's Poet in Space, Poet-in-Residence at Barnsley FC and The Academy of Urbanism, Humberside Police's Beat Poet and Yorkshire TV's Investigative Poet. He's been a regular on Newsnight Review, The Mark Radcliffe Show, The Today Programme, You & Yours, Any Questions, Quote Unquote and Have I Got News For You? He was recently celebrated by The South Bank Show. His poetry shows are the stuff of legend. Cats make him sneeze. www.ian-mcmillan.co.uk
